Anne-Lise Børresen-Dale

Professor of Medicine at the University of Oslo and Head of the Department of Genetics at Oslo University Hospital. One of Norway's leading researchers in the field of breast cancer. Recently received Fridtjof Nansen's award for outstanding research.

Børresen-Dale holds a Master degree in Biochemistry from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU/NTH) and Doctor of Science in Medical Biochemical Genetics from the University of Oslo.


Iver B. Neumann

Montague Burton Professor in International Relations at the London School of Economics (LSE). Previously Professor at the University of Oslo and head of research/deputy director at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI).

Neumann holds Master’s degrees in Political Science and Social Anthropology from the University of Oslo, a DPhil. in Political Science from Oxford and Dr.Philos. in Social Anthropology from the University of Oslo.


Kjell G. Nyborg

Professor of Finance, University of Zurich. Senior Chair, Swiss Finance Institute. President, European Finance Association. Previously Professor at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and Associate Prof. at UCLA and London Business School.

Nyborg holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Chicago and a PhD in Finance from Stanford University. 


Trygve Helgaker

Professor of Theoretical Chemistry at the University of Oslo and Director of the Centre for Theoretical and Computational Chemistry (CTTC), a Norwegian Centre of Excellence (SFF).

Helgaker holds a Cand. Scient and a Dr. Philos. in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Oslo.


Asgeir J. Sørensen

Professor in Marine Technology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and head of the Centre for Autonomous Marine Operations and Systems (AMOS), a Norwegian Centre of Excellence (SFF). Industrial experience from ABB and Marine Cybernetics.

Sørensen holds a Master’s degree and a PhD. from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTH/NTNU).


Finn Berg Jacobsen

State authorized public accountant with long experience in Norwegian industry. Member of several government committees for the drafting of laws for accounting and tax in Norway. One of the founders of the Norwegian Accounting Standards Board and chairman since its establishment in 1990 and until 2000. Awarded Knight of the Royal Norwegian Order of Saint Olav for his advancement of the understanding of accounting and auditing in Norway.

Berg Jacobsen holds the degree “Siviløkonom” (a graduate programme in Economics and Business Administration) and is a state authorized public accountant from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). Holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.


Ola Mestad

Professor and Head of Department at the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law, UiO. He has previously been a partner in the law firm BAHR and has led the Council on Ethics for the Government Pension Fund Global (NBIM).

Mestad is a lawyer and holds the degrees licenciatus juris (Lic. juris) and doctor juris (Dr. Juris) from UiO.
